This cable clamp enables fixed suspension applications for figure-8 copper cables with steel messenger on telecom access networks where spans do not exceed 50 meters.
Its unique and patented design has been developed to provide for a multi-purpose solution meeting the suspension needs on wooden, steel, concrete or composite poles.
The clamp consists of UV resistant thermoplastic jaws, reinforced with two galvanized steel plates and secured by two galvanized steel bolts.
Thanks to its straight and slightly curved grooves as well as to its reversible system, this clamp can be installed on figure-8 cables presenting messenger diameters 4 to 9mm.

Small groove:4 to 5mm
Large groove: 6 to 9mm
FEATURES & BENEFITS
The clamp has two grooves to cover all messenger sizes from 4 to 9mm (outer sheath )
It can be installed on all types of poles with one pole band or one pole head bolt
The clamp’s thermoplastic insert enables the release of the suspended cable in the event of exceptional vertical over loads (falling tree, car crush,…), protecting thus the network’s integrity
Each steel reinforcing plate presents a ring eye at an extremity for hanging up a pulley during cable unrolling applications
The nylon parts provide a 4kV dielectric insulation between the cable messenger and the pole/clamp.
