Phillips Industries released its July issue of Qwik technical tips on Thursday. This monthly issue shows technicians and car owners how to build custom battery cables for commercial vehicle applications.
Phillips Industries stated in this monthly issue that pre-assembled battery cables can be purchased, or they can be customized to suit different lengths and stud sizes. But the company also pointed out that pre-assembled battery cables may not always reach the battery terminals, or may cause confusion if the cables are too long.
“Customizing your own battery cable can easily become your best choice, especially when you may use multiple cars of different specifications,” the company said.
