CNEEC Completes First Substation for World Bank Project in Bangladesh

Recently, the World Bank substation project in Bangladesh has reached an important milestone. The Muradnagar 132kV/33kV

gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (GIS) substation constructed by China Energy Engineering Corporation (CNEEC) has

been successfully delivered. This move marks significant progress in the project and makes an important contribution to the

improvement of the local power supply network.

The successful delivery of this substation laid a solid foundation for the installation and commissioning of subsequent substations,

and also accumulated valuable experience for the construction and handover of similar projects in the future. During the project

implementation process, the CNEEC project team always adhered to the principles of optimizing the process, ensuring quality,

and strictly adhering to the construction deadline, ensuring the smooth delivery of the substation.

As the first substation of the World Bank project in Bangladesh, the successful delivery of Muradnagar substation not only

improved the level of local power infrastructure, but also injected strong impetus into the subsequent advancement of the project.

CNEEC will continue to uphold professionalism and be committed to promoting the comprehensive completion of the project and

contributing to the development of Bangladesh’s power industry.

The successful implementation of this project once again demonstrates CNEEC’s professional strength and rich experience in the

field of power infrastructure construction. In the future, CNEEC will continue to delve into the international market and provide

strong support for the development of the electric power industry in more countries and regions.
