Its installation is easy, by pushing it through a hole and tightening with a nut.

CPTA/CPTAU Pre-insulated Bimetal Lug CPTA And CPTAU Serie

• These pre-insulated plugs are used to connect a LV insulated overhead lines to the transformer.

• The lug is composed of an aluminum barrel friction welded to an aluminium or copper palm. The insulation of the barrel is made with a black thermoplastic sealed with a flexible elastomer ring.

• A seal is also installed in, between the copper and the aluminium, in order to avoid galvanic corrosion.

• The crimping is made directly on the plastic part.

• CPTA/AU range are in accordance with the test described in the French standard NFC 33 021 and in the E.S.I 43-14.
